Creating an environment for high performance requires building a culture of trust. It demands we create psychological safety where teams feel secure enough to experiment and to challenge assumptions.

Here’s my primary takeaway: the role of the technology leader is changing from a process enforcer to a systems thinker. Our job is no longer to ensure everyone follows the Scrum guide to the letter. The goal is to architect an environment where value can flow with minimal friction. This means:

Most importantly, start a conversation: "What parts of our process are creating friction, and what would a more flexible, value-focused way of working look like for us?"
